The subject was affectionately referred to as "Gramps", and was known for his trademark attire and mannerisms.  There wasn't a day that you could not find George in his plaid shirts complete with suspenders, reclined in his chair fiddling with a napkin or kleenex while looking out the front window of his home.

A portrait of a great-grandmother and new born great-grandchild.  The elderly subject suffered from alzheimers in her last few years, but took to her newly arrived great-grandchildren so tenderly and naturally.
